Lanna

Sawadee Ka, my name is Lanna, and I am the co owner and managing director of Northern Thai Escapes. I am a TAT licensed tour guide with over ten years experience providing tour services throughout Thailand. I have had the pleasure of working with many different sized groups ranging from the US military Cobra Gold personnel to single families. I love my job very much, as I get to meet people from many different cultures and backgrounds. It is especially rewarding to show them my country, to share my culture with them and to make sure that their time spent in Thailand was the enjoyable experience that they were seeking.

For private tours, I usually suggest various sites to visit and daily activities based on my customer's travel itinerary and interests. So, my tour is custom tailored to your needs and can include anything from elephant trekking or mahout training to white water rafting or a more leisurely bamboo rafting experience to visiting Chiang Mai's many temples and historic sites to visiting remote Hill Tribe villages and seeing how the Royal Project has impacted the lives of these people to shopping at the Night Bazaar or any of Chiang Mai's famous craft villages; the list goes on and on.
Overnight and multi day trips to Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle, Sukothai, or Pai are very exciting and offer many different activities. You pick and choose what you would like to see and do and then I design the tour.
Or if you prefer, I also have several set itineraries of various lengths for you to choose from. My goal is to make your trip to Thailand as memorable as it is enjoyable. I am really good with people and love to guide family groups with children.

I am very proud of my country and its rich culture and history, and I want to share that with you, so that when you leave Thailand, a little piece of her will always remain in your heart.
